Anita is a former high school math teacher. She has also worked in the mining industry in eastern Kentucky and has served as consultant to small mine operators in Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia.

Having earned her multi-engine pilot's license, Anita is able to travel when needed. This helps her over-see some of the most complex litigation for the firm, as experts must be employed nation wide to assist with proof of the complex cases. Anita is a lifelong resident of Pike County, Kentucky and is married to Gary C. Johnson. Anita and Gary have two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, flying, and attending legal seminars and professional meetings.
