Lesley A. Cayton

Lesley Cayton is a highly experienced Lexington, Kentucky personal injury attorney who joined the Gary C. Johnson team in 2024, bringing more than a decade of experience handling medical malpractice, wrongful death, and complex injury cases across multiple states.

Lesley focuses her practice on representing individuals and families in serious and catastrophic injury claims, including medical negligence, wrongful death, bad faith insurance settlement practices, environmental exposure, nursing home negligence, and car accidents in Kentucky.

Before joining the firm, Lesley practiced at a multi-state regional law firm where she handled complex litigation involving wrongful death and medical malpractice claims. Her ability to analyze complex facts and build strong cases makes her a strong advocate for injured clients.

Lesley earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law. She also graduated magna cum laude from Transylvania University, where she studied German and Anthropology. She is an active member of the Kentucky Justice Association and the American Association for Justice.

Before pursuing law, Lesley worked as an IT professional in the nonprofit sector, contributing to projects such as developing custom software for human services programs and assisting low-income families through volunteer tax preparation services. Lesley lives in Lexington, Kentucky, where she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and cooking.
